I have been wood working since the 60s.
My father was a furniture builder with New Orleans Funiture Mfg. For 50+ years. As a young boy I remember seeing a old wood carver working on furniture , and saying I want to do that.
I am a self taught wood carver. Before hurricane Katryina 2005 I was a furniture builder , wood turner , custom box maker and wood carver.
Now I have a very small studio, A walk in closet .
This where I carve exotic and rare woods into things of nature, Dragonflies, lizards, Seahorses, Butterflies,Leaves, and almost any thing that will come out of the peice of wood.
